The Together Trust, which has its headquarters on School's Hill, is Cheadle's largest charity, and in 2020, it is celebrating its 150th anniversary and is also just a few years short of celebrating 100 years of being based in Cheadle.

It employs several hundred staff at its assorted locations, and throughout its history it has provided invaluable support to many thousands of vulnerable children and young adults with a range of behavioural problems, learning difficulties and physical disabilities, and thanks to the professionalism, dedication and expertise of its staff, many of these youngsters have subsequently managed to move forward significantly to enjoy much more fulfilling and independent lives.

To help celebrate the Together Trust's very special milestone, the National Lottery Heritage Fund has awarded it a grant of £99,200 which will be used on assorted exhibitions, digital projects, events and activities telling the story of how the charity has helped so many local people and their families over many years and it is keen to involve the wider Cheadle community in these activities as much as possible.
