Glorious warm weather on Saturday 20th April ensured a very successful Easter on the Green event, organised by St Mary's church.

The Civic Society were happy to support the church in what is hoped will become an annual community event on Cheadle Green, for which many local people attended.

An array of free activities and entertainments were provided during the day, including numerous musical acts, a very professional puppet show, a children's Easter egg hunt, a popular bouncy castle, plus a great selection of food, drinks and cakes, served by volunteers from the church.
