History of Bruntwood reference book

Acclaimed Cheadle historian Pat Seddon has produced a highly detail reference book about the history of Bruntwood Hall and park, which includes more than 70 illustrations showing all the changes which have taken place at this historic local landmark since it was created in the 1860s.

This is the most comprehensive record of how Bruntwood Hall was built and how it has evolved over the years from being a local "stately home" at the very beginning to its home as a "stud farm" where racehorses were bred to becoming the main office for Cheadle and Gatley Urban District Council after World War 2 to becoming a new boutique hotel in 2017.

For anyone interested in Cheadle history, and Bruntwood in particular, this is a "must-have" for the collection as it contains a wealth of information which will not be found anywhere else.

The book can be purchased at the Vinery cafe in Bruntwood Park.
