2015 Christmas Victorian Market

On Saturday 5th December, the Cheadle Civic Society again helped to organise the Christmas Victorian themed market which took place on Cheadle Green, as well as inside and outside of St Mary's church and also in the rear car park at the White Lion pub.

Despite strong winds and threatening weather the night before, the event proved extremely popular with literally dozens of local stall holders on hand selling a huge variety of seasonal foods and gifts, and other people providing a rich mixture of entertainments and activities, both inside the church and throughout the village.

As in previous years, people flocked from far and wide to visit the event and during the peak of the day, there were several thousand people in attendance, with many wearing suitable Victorian attire.

Below are a selection of photographs taken at different locations during the day.
