2012 Queens Diamond Jubilee Festival

A celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with a spectacular festival in Cheadle on Saturday June 2 |
The Civic Society donated £1000 and assisted greatly with the planning of what was a truly spectacular festival to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Saturday the 2nd of June.
The event was held on Ashfield Road and Jubilee Park and amongst the many attractions and activities on hand were a classic car show, buskers, food stalls, fun fair, judo demonstration, steel band, fitness assessment area, Morris dancing, barbershop choir, dog show and much more. The Civic Society also had a prominent stand at the event and many hundreds of local people turned up for what was regarded as a very successful community event.
